About Kucharysonart

Laura Kucharyson is a professional artist who specializes in creating realistic and impressionistic paintings in oils and acrylics. Her artwork features a wide range of subjects, including seascapes, landscapes, animals, and everyday scenes that are designed to bring joy and beauty to any home.   

 She has a passion for God’s creation and portraying that world on canvas. There is always a potential art project waiting to be created in her world. At the age of 12, Laura was introduced to the joy of oil painting under the instruction of Evelyn Adams, an accomplished Colorado artist. Living in Colorado with her husband and three boys, Laura took advantage of hiking and camping which inspired many landscapes. In 2006, the family moved to Melbourne Florida, where the ocean quickly became a new passion.

After teaching music for 22 years, and raising her family, Laura’s husband encouraged her to focus on her art. The adventure began at the Art Gallery of Viera, taking lessons from a world-renowned pallet knife artist, Robert Lebron. From January 2013-October 2020, Laura served as a working member and later a board member until the closing of the gallery. In 2019 Laura joined Breaker’s Art Gallery where she is currently displaying her art, teaches classes there as well as in her home studio.

It will always be Laura’s desire to continue painting God’s creation and share this with others. It is her love for God, family and friends that motivates Laura to create.
